China's economy kicked off 2018 on a strong note with better-than-expected data for the first two months.
Industrial output expanded at 7.2 percent year-on-year in the first two months, accelerating from 6.2 percent growth in December 2017, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) said in a statement.

Vietnamese garment-textile sector inspite of huge challenges in the global market are eyeing eyeing for a growth of 10 percent in 2018. The sector earned 4.3 billion USD from exports in the first two months this year, up 22.3 percent year on year.

India’s apparel production has shown a decline of 10.4 per cent for the ten-month period Apr-Jan 2017-18 due to the consistent decline since May 2017, as per the latest IIP figures.
