The Centre for Fashion Enterprise(CFE), based at London College of Fashion, UAL is relocating its Manufacturers Trade Show so that it runs alongside luxury fashion fabric show, Textile Forum, in London. Textile Forum exhibitors will be showing more than 70 collections of fabrics for spring/summer and autumn/winter while CFE will showcase over 20 exhibitors.

In the recently ended marketing year 2016-17, the United States exported 14.9 million bales of cotton, registering the highest quantity of exports since 2005-06, when the country exported 17.7 million bales. Textile exports from Latin American nation of Peru rose 12 per cent to $115 million in July 2017, compared to the same month last year, according to the data from the Central Reserve Bank (BCR). The rise in exports was driven by increase in imports by countries like China (280 per cent), Brazil (67 per cent), Ecuador (54 per cent) and the US (21 per cent).
