Uzbekistan cotton has again come under the world’s scanner for infringing international labour laws.
More than 100 popular apparel labels like Zara, H&M, Gap, Walmart, Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent have decided to shun Uzbek cotton, according to a statement released by the Oakland-based NGO Responsible Sourcing Network (RSN).

Coach just won a lawsuit against internet counterfeiters, which could set a precedent for the rest of the industry.
The company won $257 million in damages from the companies, the largest settlement of its kind, Alexandra Steigrad at Women's Wear Daily reported. Under the judgement, Coach can also seize 573 domain names linked to counterfeit brands, stopping the copycats in their tracks.

Teijin Polyester (Thailand) Limited (TPL), a Teijin Group subsidiary in Bangkok, which manufactures and sells polyester fibre, has received the Best Labour Relations and Welfare Award for a tenth consecutive year.
