  • A special plan has been drawn up by the Provincial Department of Textiles to set up textiles villages in the province to uplift the handloom textile industry. The plan will be implemented on the instructions of Provincial Minister Gunadasa Dehigama. Plans are underway to handover a handloom machine worth Rs 50,000 to each textile village.
